How do I clear the phone memory of a LG VX5500 phone?

I just need to do a full clear back to factory defaults because my dad wants to activate it for himself and he doesn't want all of my old crap. %26gt;.%26gt;How do I clear the phone memory of a LG VX5500 phone?
You can only reset phone to it's default settings. You will have to erase everything by hand
