I want to sell them on ebay so I want to guarantee that the ESN is completely clear. All your answers are greatly appreciated!I have two used phones my friend gave me and I need to sell them. How do I know if the ESN is clear?
Call the customer service number for the cell phone provider the phones are made for. Tell them you want to make sure the phones are able to be activated and they can check the esn's to make sure they are not blacklisted for any reason. My carrier is Verizon Wireless, so I know the number for them is 800-922-0204, but I don't know any of the other numbers.
