Why does radio, television, cell phones, etc have clear reception some days and bad reception some days?

It could be interference with satellites or just bad weather. Why does radio, television, cell phones, etc have clear reception some days and bad reception some days?
Radio - It has an AM and FM Radio Frequency, AM Frequency is better than FM. Secondly, Especially when it Rains waves of the frequency's get reflected and can't reach their target properly.

Television - Television will have 86% better Frequency Quality, because of the DIGITAL SWITCHOVER (Just type it in google and you will know what I am on about) The Frequency waves will get better through this.

They are all the same in frequency's etc... The problem is mainly due to rain. Why does radio, television, cell phones, etc have clear reception some days and bad reception some days?
Electromagnetic interference due to sun spot activity, air traffic, ';noisy'; power sources, where you are, things like that.
