Is there any way to reset a cell phone....clear contacts, phone #'s and everything else on it?

It's a Verizon LG phone. I plan to sell it on E-bay, but want to clear everthing first.Is there any way to reset a cell phone....clear contacts, phone #'s and everything else on it?
Under settings there should be a Master clear and/or Master reset. You must know your 6 digit code. Sometimes from the factory if you never changed it it may be 000000 or 111111. If you need further assistance you may call Verizon wireless at *611 from your cell phone or 1-800-922-0204 from any phone. I'm sure they would talk you through whatever you need to do to the phone.Is there any way to reset a cell phone....clear contacts, phone #'s and everything else on it?
delete all your saved info and hit master reset
go to a qualified service tech and they do the flushing....
